Our Client is a progressive construction company based in Warrington. They are very successful with a number of large national contracts and is in a strong position for growth with several large construction projects underway across the country. The Company has specialised in building student accommodation but has recently moved into building bespoke high end residential accommodation.

We are looking for a developer's planner with appropriate qualifications and experience to work on a number of projects in the North West. The role will be based in Warrington but full driving required as will need to travel to site in Manchester & Liverpool.

The Planner will work under the direction of the Project Directors and is responsible for developing time plans on construction projects ensuring the project is completed safely, on time and within budget.
The successful candidate must come from a construction/multiple building background rather than civil and be proficient at Asta, but also with a knowledge of Revit and BIM.

Job Role:

• Create, maintain, review and administer construction schedules and plans using Asta Powerproject
• Liaise with consultants who use Revit and BIM.
• Liaise with managers and engineers to discuss the progress of the project and address any issues that arise
• Liaise with external contractors and suppliers to organize the phases of the construction development
• Work with operations teams to produce logistics plans
• Prepare reports for weekly site programmes and monthly board reports
• Look at team outputs and efficiencies
• Look at innovation

Personal Qualities/Skills

• A Degree or HND in a relevant subject is desirable
• Knowledge of concrete and steel frame multiple structural solutions.
• Knowledge of Asta, Revit and BIM.
• Strong communication skills including report writing and presenting.
• Understanding multiple principles for construction
• Excellent time management
• Must have an organised and methodical approach
• High Attention to detail
• Excellent IT skills
• Ability to remain calm under pressure
• Strong Problem solving skills
• Work as part of a team and individually
