We are seeking an Assistant BIM Coordinator to join our team in Barbados. This role is ideal for candidates who are passionate about engineering technology and focused on developing their integrated digital delivery experience.
Key Responsibilities
As an Assistant BIM Coordinator, you will:- Support the Integrated Digital Delivery (IDD) team with document production for project execution.
- Assist with CAD production and 3D modelling activities.
- Help develop algorithmic processes and scripting (Dynamo, Python, LISP, VBA).
- Support 3D model coordination, clash detection, and reporting.
- Assist with systems setup and management (Assemble systems and BIM 360).
- Perform design coordination and identify constructability issues in collaboration with the project team and subcontractors.
- Report on information modelling quality.
- Undertake other duties and responsibilities as required.
Required Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have:- A minimum of 1-2 years of industry experience.
- A post-graduate diploma in BIM Management.
- Proficiency in 3D modelling of architectural, structural, and civil utility elements.
- The ability to read construction drawings and understand relevant standards.
- Working knowledge of software including Civil 3D, Assemble, Navisworks, Synchro Pro, and Fuzor.
- Familiarity with Common Data Environments (CDE) such as ACC and BIM 360.
- Experience or knowledge of 4D simulations.
