We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance/Quality Control Engineer to join our team. You will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of quality are maintained throughout our projects, from initial stages to final handover. Your responsibilities will include monitoring works on-site, coordinating with subcontractors, and actively participating in project meetings.

Responsibilities:

  • Quality Assurance & Control:
    • Conduct thorough checks of works in progress, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
    • Manage the quality of finished works against approved benchmarks, ensuring standards are met.
    • Collaborate with QA Managers to ensure timely submission of accurate documentation by contractors.
  • Subcontractor Management:
    • Liaise with subcontractors to track progress against the project schedule.
    • Organise and lead subcontractor meetings to discuss progress, quality, and any arising issues.
  • Documentation & Reporting:
    • Manage and maintain comprehensive site documentation.
    • Generate snag lists on the designated platform and issue them to contractors, followed by regular progress checks and timely closeout reports as per the approved Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Meetings & Communication:
    • Attend and actively contribute to site meetings, internal project reviews, engineering reviews, planning sessions, coordination meetings, lookahead meetings, and handover meetings.
  • Design Review & Problem Solving:
    • Review drawings with the design team, identifying and resolving any issues effectively.
  • On-site Monitoring:
    • Actively monitor contractor works, ensuring installations align with approved drawings and specifications.
    • Proactively ensure the highest quality is achieved to minimise defects.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (essential).
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience working on large-scale construction projects.
  • Experience in facade and fit-out projects is essential.
  • Previous experience working on data centre projects is advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively, demonstrating strong initiative.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
  • Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and relevant industry standards.
