The Role:
We are pleased to announce that we are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Lead to join our team. This position will be based on-site in Finland. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of electrical engineers and ensuring the successful delivery of our data centre construction projects to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and motivate a team of Electrical Engineers.
- Propose suitable changes to design to improve cost efficiency, ease the construction programme, and enhance specification and quality of completion.
- Display commercial astuteness throughout project execution.
- Monitor construction, ensuring high quality of workmanship and materials.
- Coordinate and liaise with the contracts manager, site engineers, and other discipline leads to ensure that all subcontractors and site personnel have timely and accurate information.
- Check and ensure a thorough understanding of drawings and specifications; formally communicate any errors or omissions to the design team in a timely manner.
- Establish project resource requirements.
- Oversee and maintain the highest quality of health and safety standards on site.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a relevant area.
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes.
- Proven experience in scheduling, programming, and sequencing of projects.
- Essential experience in effectively leading MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) teams.
- Demonstrable experience in the delivery of Data Centre MEP projects.
