Key Responsibilities

- Overall Responsibility: Ensure successful execution of marine works and coordinate with alliance partners to meet project objectives.

- Schedule Development: Lead the development and maintenance of project schedules.

- Scope Management: Manage scope changes and budget effectively.

- Design Reviews: Participate in design and constructability reviews prior to execution.

- Technical Discussions: Facilitate discussions with engineering teams and subcontractors to finalise designs and specifications.

- Construction Sequencing: Maintain and regularly review the construction sequence from design release to execution.

- Method Statements: Develop method statements and construction packages.

- Action Plans: Create and implement action/recovery plans to address any schedule performance issues.

- Project Metrics: Validate and monitor project metrics, including safety, quality, cost, and schedule.

- Risk Management: Proactively manage risks and mitigation strategies across all partners.

- Resource Management: Identify and report any resource constraints impacting planned work.

- Material Coordination: Ensure all required materials and services are identified, ordered, and delivery risks are managed.

- Team Leadership: Lead a team that supports design development and construction supervision.

Requirements

- Educational Background: Post-secondary technical degree or equivalent work experience.

- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in project management within a related field; prior experience with marine, coastal, or offshore works is essential.

- Technical Leadership: Ability to lead technical discussions with subcontractors and stakeholders for permits and design approvals.

- Specialised Knowledge: Experience with shoring, diaphragm walls, or cutoff walls is preferred.

- Professionalism: Ability to handle matters confidentially and professionally.

- Skills: Excellent organisational, communication, and customer relationship skills; strong team coordination mindset; extensive knowledge of project execution, financial operations, estimating, and employee relations.
