Position: Mechanical Team Leader

Join a prominent engineering firm specialising in comprehensive data centre construction solutions across Europe. With a strong focus on engineering excellence, we are expanding our operations and seeking a skilled Mechanical Team Leader to oversee our projects in Helsinki.

Key Responsibilities:

• Guide and manage a team of mechanical engineers.

• Suggest design modifications to enhance cost-effectiveness, streamline construction timelines, and improve quality standards.

• Demonstrate strong commercial insight.

• Supervise construction activities, ensuring high standards of workmanship and material quality.

• Collaborate with contract managers, site engineers, and other discipline leaders to provide accurate and timely information to subcontractors and site staff.

• Review and interpret drawings and specifications, promptly addressing any discrepancies with the design team.

• Determine project resource needs and inspire the project team.

• Ensure top-tier health and safety standards are maintained.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.

• Extensive knowledge of procurement processes.

• Proficient in scheduling, programming, and sequencing.

• Proven experience in leading MEP teams.

• Background in delivering MEP projects for data centres.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
