Job Summary: Construction Planner


The Construction Planner supports the Project Manager in meeting programme requirements by providing comprehensive planning across all phases of construction projects.

Key responsibilities include:

- Developing and updating multi-disciplinary programmes in collaboration with delivery teams, supply chain partners and stakeholders
- Integrating programme activities and dependencies within the overall project network logic 
- Creating and maintaining detailed project schedules using Primavera P6, Microsoft Project and ASTA PowerProject
- Producing short-term look-ahead schedules and weekly work plans
- Analysing critical paths, float and potential delays
- Cost loading programmes and providing earned value data
- Preparing programme reports, narratives and visualisations  
- Supporting change management processes and scenario planning
- Ensuring compliance with NEC4 contract requirements
- Communicating programme information effectively to project teams

The ideal candidate will have:

- HND/HNC or equivalent in construction or related field
- Proficiency in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project and ASTA PowerProject
- Experience planning large, multi-disciplinary construction projects
- Strong knowledge of NEC4 contracts
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Membership in a relevant professional body

This role requires a detail-oriented planner who can manage complex schedules, analyse data, and provide critical programme insights to support successful project delivery.
