Job Description: Quality Engineer
We are seeking a skilled Quality Engineer to join our Project Delivery Organisation Quality Function for a major nuclear power plant construction project in Suffolk.Role Overview
Reporting to the Quality Leads, you will:- Assist in solving complex, challenging issues
- Ensure Quality Delivery ways of working are effective for right first-time delivery
- Manage daily PDO Quality QA/QC activities
- Create, review, update and report on PDO Quality governance and manufacturing/construction documents
- Drive improvements in processes, procedures and audit plans
- Implement new methodologies using problem-solving techniques
- Occasionally travel to project locations within the UK
Required Skills and Experience
- Experience in Manufacturing/Construction/Engineering industry- Familiarity with ISO 9001 operating environments
- Project environment experience
- Implementation and maintenance of Quality Governance frameworks
- Development and review of QA-related procedures, templates and forms
- Conducting quality checks and identifying non-conformances
- Implementation of corrective and preventive actions
- Production, tracking and analysis of quality key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Creation of QA Dashboards
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Outlook and SharePoint
- Experience in QA/QC and use of reporting tools
- Focus on continuous improvement
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Structured approach to work planning and execution
