Position: Quantity Surveyor
Location: Sizewell C, England, UK
We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Sizewell C. Candidates should have a background in Civil Engineering or Construction.
Role Overview:
The Quantity Surveyor will oversee and manage the commercial and financial aspects of various projects, providing expert advice to maximise returns. This role involves supporting the Commercial Team and Project Managers by adhering to established procedures.
Responsibilities:

Strive to meet or exceed budget targets by exploring value engineering opportunities and alternative methods.

Ensure timely submission of external valuations and manage project cash flow.

Prepare monthly cost value reconciliation reports, reflecting the current site status and profit forecasts.

Administer contract conditions and prepare necessary contractual notices.

Price and agree on project variations promptly to maximise entitlements.

Understand project bids and demonstrate knowledge during the Preconstruction Stage.

Procure and manage supply chain orders, ensuring accurate valuation and certification.

Re-measure works accurately and promptly to maximise entitlements.

Finalise client and supply chain accounts while maintaining strong relationships.

Perform additional duties as required by the line manager.

Adhere to company procedures.
Experience and Knowledge:

Extensive experience in civil engineering.

Possession of a CSCS card.
-
Familiarity with NEC3 or NEC4 Options A, B, and C.
Qualifications:

Degree in Building Surveying or a related technical qualification (HND/HNC).

Membership in the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) is desirable.

Proficiency in IT packages, including Microsoft Office.
