We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quantity Surveyor to oversee and manage all costs and value for designated project elements. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial success of projects by effectively managing subcontractors, controlling costs, and maximising value.

Key Responsibilities:

*   Prepare and agree on robust subcontract documentation.
*   Provide comprehensive commercial management of multiple subcontract packages, from initial order placement through to final account agreement, including monthly payments, variation management, and claims resolution.
*   Continuously monitor costs and financial entitlements on the packages/projects under your control, identifying potential risks and opportunities.
*   Actively engage with all stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, designers, and internal team members, to foster strong working relationships and ensure effective communication.
*   Prepare and submit contractually compliant commercial documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
*   Develop, submit, and agree on external valuations, ensuring accurate and timely payment.
*   Negotiate and agree on variations, omissions, and final accounts with both subcontractors and clients, maintaining a professional and collaborative approach.
*   Prepare regular and accurate cost/value reconciliation reports and cash flow forecasts.
*   Proactively identify and resolve potential conflicts, striving for mutually beneficial solutions.
*   Provide guidance, mentoring, and support to junior members of the commercial team.

Requirements:

*   Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
*   Excellent budgeting and financial forecasting skills.
*   Familiarity with cost management software such as Buildsoft, CostX, or similar is advantageous.
*   Experience working on Data Centre projects is advantageous.
