The Project

You will be central to delivering the 'Hospital 2.0'
vision, a smarter and more sustainable approach that utilises:
- Standardisation: Using standardised designs and repeatable components across multiple hospital projects to drive efficiency and ensure consistent quality.
- Modern Methods of Construction (MMC): Maximising the use of off-site manufacturing and pre-assembled components to improve quality, speed, and safety.
- Digital by Default: Leveraging advanced digital tools like Building Information Modelling (BIM) from design through to operation.
- Sustainability: A core commitment to delivering Net Zero Carbon facilities.
The Role
As the Architectural Design Manager, you will lead the design process for this revolutionary programme. Your primary responsibility will be to champion and implement the principles of standardisation and repeatability
across the project, ensuring design efficiency and consistent quality. You will drive the use of cutting-edge digital tools like BIM, embedding a 'Digital by Default' approach within the architectural team. Working in a highly collaborative environment, you will liaise with the NHS Trust, government departments, and supply chain partners to ensure the architectural vision aligns with the project's ambitious goals for sustainability and modern construction methods.
