The Role
As a BIM Engineer, you will play a central role in delivering the innovative "Hospital 2.0" model. You will be part of a revolutionary approach to building, helping to shape the future of the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leverage advanced digital tools like Building Information Modelling (BIM) and digital twins from design through to operation.
- Work within a "Digital by Default" framework, which is a key principle of the programme.
- Support the use of Modern Methods of Construction (MMC) by facilitating the use of off-site manufacturing and pre-assembled components.
- Help drive efficiency and ensure consistent quality through the application of standardised designs and repeatable components.
- Work in a highly collaborative environment with the NHS Trust, government departments, and a wide range of supply chain partners.
- Contribute to the programme's core commitment to delivering Net Zero Carbon facilities.
