Key Duties:
Surveying Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee all project site surveying activities.
- Administer and conduct precise setting out based on design documents.
- Verify construction progress through detailed site measurements.
- Certify quantities for resource billing and project completion.
Performance & Leadership:
- Track performance against project milestones.
- Regular reporting to construction leadership.
- Maintain thorough records of all surveying details.
- Mentor and guide a team of skilled surveyors.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure all surveying follows strict regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with various teams to resolve technical matters.
- Coordinate with external stakeholders for operational efficiency.
Requirements:
- Authorised to work in Ireland.
- Completion of a comprehensive background check.
- Degree in Land Surveying, Geomatics, or related disciplines.
- Over a decade of experience in surveying, with considerable leadership exposure.
- Proven track record in airport or infrastructure projects is preferred.
- Skillful in using advanced surveying tools and software.
- Strong grasp of construction documentation and procedures.
- Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Advantageous: Experience in tunnel construction and understanding of quality management systems.
