We are seeking a dedicated Logistics Supervisor to oversee and optimise our logistics operations. This role focuses on leading teams, managing communications, and ensuring seamless logistics processes. You'll manage a high-profile project supported by a collaborative team, with opportunities for growth both locally and internationally.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Management:
  • Oversee and guide logistics staff and subcontractors to achieve high performance and adherence to standards.
  • Facilitate training and development to maintain top-tier team performance.
Reporting & Coordination:
  • Maintain detailed records of logistics activities, deliveries, and inventory.
  • Generate comprehensive reports for management and key stakeholders.
  • Act as the primary liaison for logistics communications.
  • Monitor quality, stock, delivery metrics, and costs to enhance efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with legislation, regulations, and ISO standards.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Eligibility to work in Ireland.
  • Commitment to a 5-year background verification process.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in relevant fields such as Engineering or Supply Chain.
  • CSCS Card (Professionally Qualified Person or Construction Manager).
  • A minimum of 10 years’ experience in logistics management within construction or engineering sectors.
  • Experience in regulated environments like airports is highly desirable.
  • Strong insight into construction logistics, supply chain practices, and site management.
  • Excellent organisational, communicative, and leadership capabilities.
  • Valid driver's licence and pertinent certifications (CSCS, Safe Pass).
Preferred Skills:
  • Proven track record in distribution and logistics oversight.
  • Proficient in logistics software and management systems.
  • Acute attention to detail with strong analytical abilities.
  • Expertise in systems implementation and auditing.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Stellar negotiation skills for supplier engagement.
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.
