We are currently seeking a Commissioning Manager to join our expanding team.The Cx Manager will act as the primary point of contact, coordinating and liaising with a variety of stakeholders, both internal and external. As such, the ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of technical expertise and project management skills.This role requires the identification and management of project scopes and interdependencies between external and internal stakeholders, coordinating these elements with the physical construction build.

Responsibilities:

  • Management and Supervision of Cx Package Engineers:
    • Defining and setting work scopes.
    • Monitoring and managing the delivery of work scopes.
    • Communicating deadlines and Cx programme milestones effectively.
  • Project Cx Programme Management:  Managing project commissioning programmes, including milestone and deadline adherence.
  • Ensuring comprehensive understanding and compliance with all relevant contract documents and procedures.
  • Planning and managing Vendor FAT/FWT (Factory Acceptance Testing/Factory Witness Testing), with potential on-site attendance as required.
  • Managing the CX Scope of CFCI and OFCI vendors.
  • Maintaining clear and consistent communication with all Cx stakeholders.
  • Attending and actively contributing to daily/weekly Cx meetings, both internally, with vendors, and with the Client.
  • Preparing, updating, and submitting Cx progress and technical reports to the line manager.
  • Coordinating and aligning with the Project QA/QC Department to achieve common objectives.
  • Coordinating and aligning with the Project AP Department to achieve common objectives.
  • Managing, delivering, and obtaining approval for all relevant project Cx documents, such as test scripts and compliance statements.
  • Managing the receipt, review, and compliance of project CX documentation to achieve the necessary CX level sign-off.
  • Serving as the single point of contact (POC) for managing and reporting on the planning and execution of scopes and deliverables.
  • Identifying, documenting, and managing the construction phasing deliverables for the relevant systems.
  • Reporting bi-weekly progress through the respective Design, Procurement, Execution, and Handover phases.
  • Coordinating with the Client on snagging and handover processes.
  • Facilitating, coaching, and assisting in the scheduling of installation and site on-boarding procedures (including H&S, Method Statements, etc.).
  • Ensuring strict compliance with all Health and Safety regulations.
Requirements:
  • Relevant qualifications in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering, or a relevant trade qualification coupled with appropriate training and experience.
  • A process-driven candidate with a strong focus on EHS (Environmental Health and Safety) and Quality Work Management Systems and Processes is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve problems analytically and act decisively.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role within a construction environment, with experience in projects such as commercial buildings, industrial facilities, pharmaceutical plants, or data centres being highly desirable.
