We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced MEP Quantity Surveyor to join a dynamic team working on cutting-edge projects within the data centre sector. Based in Helsinki, Finland, this role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the successful delivery of complex and challenging schemes.

Key Responsibilities:

Subcontractor Management:
Managing the full lifecycle of subcontract packages, from initial procurement to final account settlement. This includes developing tender documents, analysing bids, negotiating with subcontractors, and administering contracts.

Cost Control & Reporting:
Preparing and submitting accurate monthly cost reports, including forecasting final project costs in collaboration with the site team.

Stakeholder Engagement:
Participating in regular meetings with clients, subcontractors, designers, and internal teams. Building strong working relationships and effectively negotiating and closing out final accounts.

Claims Administration:
Proactively managing subcontractor claims and ensuring timely and compliant submission of claims to the client, in accordance with contractual requirements.

Valuation & Payment:
Preparing and submitting external valuations, engaging with client representatives to agree on monthly values, and ensuring accurate certification and tracking of payments.

Measurement & Pricing:
Accurately measuring work packages from drawings and applying appropriate rates to develop pricing strategies.

Budget Management:
Assisting in the management of the project budget, under the guidance of the Project Director.

Communication & Collaboration:
Managing client communications, attending commercial and subcontractor meetings, and effectively resolving disputes.

Contractual Compliance:
Ensuring timely submission of contractual notices and claims, adhering to all relevant contract provisions.

Change Management:
Documenting and managing cost changes to the work scope, preparing monthly valuations, and contributing to final account preparation.

Skills & Experience:

*   Demonstrable experience of teamwork and mentoring within a commercial environment.
*   A strong focus on achieving results and a proactive, "can-do" attitude.
*   Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar MEP Quantity Surveying role.
*   A Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying.
*   Excellent organisational, communication, and time management skills.
*   Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
*   Experience in the data centre sector is desirable but not essential.
