Role Purpose:
Under the leadership of a senior procurement team member, you will lead/support best-in-class procurement services for projects and business units. You'll engage with the supply chain to deliver enhanced value and contribute to our business's pursuit of exceeding client and stakeholder expectations.Key Responsibilities:
- Implement procurement plans as directed by leadership
- Provide and implement project procurement, supply chain, and category-specific strategies
- Provide market intelligence, cost advice, and supply chain performance management
- Support and develop a team of procurement professionals
- Manage the procurement process for subcontractors, materials, plant, and services
- Monitor markets and provide alternative procurement strategies as needed
- Champion innovation and propose new methods, materials, and systems
- Develop market knowledge to support bids, live projects, and business unit needs
- Build effective relationships with suppliers and subcontractors
