Position: Project Leader
Location: Northern Mozambique
Salary: €120,000 to €150,000 net
Role Overview:
We are seeking a Project Leader to oversee the construction of a significant marine facility in Northern Mozambique. This role involves establishing a framework for construction execution, ensuring safety, quality, and profitability, and collaborating with senior management to identify new opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and coordinate project completion, adhering to client requirements, organisational policies, and budget constraints.

Manage third-party negotiations, including contractors and suppliers, throughout the project lifecycle.

Prepare and negotiate contracts, ensuring compliance with all requirements.

Validate technical, financial, and time-related contractual options.

Monitor financial aspects and budget control.

Engage in public relations to enhance company reputation.

Implement project budgets, enforce standards, manage team allocation, and prepare progress reports.

Build industry relationships to generate business opportunities.

Oversee training and development of project staff.
Qualifications:

Degree in Engineering (Construction or Architecture).

Minimum 15 years of experience in managing large-scale construction projects, particularly in civil or marine works.

Experience with jetties or quay walls is advantageous.

Proficient in claim handling and contract management (FIDIC).

Fluent in English; additional languages are beneficial.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
