Are you either an experienced Design Manager or an experienced healthcare designer?We are seeking an energetic, enthusiastic and people-focused Senior Design Manager with healthcare experience to join our team in the North of England. This role will lead the delivery of effective Building Services design across a large-scale hospital project.The Opportunity:As Senior Design Manager, you will:
- Lead pre-construction phase design processes
- Implement design management procedures
- Liaise between commercial, construction and design teams
- Challenge and interrogate designs collaboratively
- Oversee design information production and control
- Ensure regular design progress reporting
- Review designs for buildability, safety, compliance and suitability
- Promote innovation in design management practices
- Experience managing healthcare facility design projects end-to-end
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related construction qualification
- Deep knowledge of healthcare sector design and building services
- Understanding of HTMs and healthcare design standards
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
