The Opportunity:
We are seeking an energetic, enthusiastic, and people-focused Senior Design Manager with an electrical background and healthcare experience to join our Healthcare team. This role will support our live and pipeline projects in various locations across the UK. If staying away from home 2-3 nights a week, we cover expenses for hotels, evening meals, and travel.
As Senior Design Manager, you will:
- Lead the delivery of effective design across large-scale projects
- Manage pre-construction phase design processes
- Liaise with clients, design teams, and internal departments
- Implement processes to challenge and interrogate designs collaboratively
- Ensure regular design progress reporting and thorough review of design information
- Promote innovation in design management methodologies and practices
- End-to-end experience in managing design from concept to handover
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or related construction qualification
- Healthcare sector specialism and broad experience managing construction or building services design projects
