Project Controls Manager - Latin America

The Opportunity

The Latin America region is home to some of the world's fastest growing economies, with large-scale investment in infrastructure set for the coming years. We are looking to expand our footprint within Latin America from our base in Lima, Peru, with potential opportunities throughout both Central and South America including Mexico, Colombia, Brazil and Argentina.

We are seeking ambitious and dynamic Project Controls Managers with a background in large NEC Civil Engineering Projects who are keen to deliver large infrastructure schemes with both a huge social and economic benefit for Latin America.

About You

You have a Civil Engineering Degree, a Construction-related qualification, or a Project Management qualification.

You can demonstrate experience in the delivery of large civil projects and programmes, you have the ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams and, ideally, you will have experience with the NEC contracts.

You have an advanced level of English or better and Spanish language skills are considered preferable but are not a prerequisite for the job.

You are digitally savvy, can build lasting client relationships and enjoy being a part of a strong, motivated team. You will have the ability to make sound decisions and demonstrate reasoning and be hungry to grow your career.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

- Managing PMO and Project Controls performance on assigned commissions
- Creating and designing effective implementation of PMO and Project Controls framework/strategy
- Managing and directing clients, consultants, contractors, project team on all PMO and Project Controls matters
- Partnering with clients to meet expectations and build strong professional relationships
- Providing expert advice to the project team in the administration of the PMO and Project Controls process
- Working alongside the PMO Director and/or Project Manager to recognise actions, opportunities and mitigate risks and issues
- Coordinating activities/operations to ensure they are carried out in line with Control Centre and client requirements
- Line managing a team of PMO and Project Controls team members
- Providing comprehensive technical expertise to mentor and assist the personal and career development of team members
- Managing the integration of Project Controls with PMO and Planning disciplines
