We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the redevelopment of Cyril E. King Airport and Henry E. Rohlsen Airport. This role will focus on modernising amenities, improving passenger experiences, and enhancing the resiliency and sustainability of the airports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Coordination:
- Coordinate the overall work of the project in collaboration with alliance partners to ensure a collective focus on execution goals and deliverables.- Lead functional teams across various departments within the project organisation.
- Attend project planning meetings and coordinate readiness tasks for design, procurement, and construction.
- Technical Oversight:
- Engage in design and constructability reviews.- Develop and maintain project sequences from design release to construction.
- Conduct regular field tours to monitor work progress and engage with site personnel.
- Provide technical and commercial guidance to Site Superintendents and Project Coordinators.
- Performance and Risk Management:
- Create and implement action/recovery plans to address any schedule performance issues.- Proactively manage risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Validate and monitor project metrics related to safety, quality, cost, and schedule.
- Identify and report any resource constraints affecting planned work.
- Financial Responsibilities:
- Review and approve purchasing requisitions, subcontracts, and invoice payments within established authority limits.- Team Leadership:
- Manage performance of all direct-report employees, including coaching, mentoring, career planning, and conducting performance reviews.- Ensure all project staff understand and comply with applicable code of conduct policies.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in project management within a related role.- Experience as a General Contractor on self-perform work is essential.
- Airport refurbishment experience is highly preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a team-oriented mindset.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and customer relationship skills.
- Extensive knowledge of project execution, financial operations, estimating, and employee relations.
