We are seeking experienced Project Managers to join our expanding site team for a major nuclear construction project. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to one of the UK's largest and most significant infrastructure developments, playing a crucial part in the nation's clean energy future and climate change agenda.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage on-site project activities, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project objectives and milestones
- Implement best practices in project management to optimise efficiency and quality
- Oversee contractor and subcontractor activities, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards
- Proactively identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring smooth project progression
Essential Qualifications and Experience
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in large-scale infrastructure or energy projects (value £18 million+)- Experience with major complex projects such as HS2, HPC, Thames Tideway, CrossRail, or Transport for London (TfL)
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges
- In-depth knowledge of safety and regulatory standards in the energy or construction sector
- Extensive experience with NEC 3/4 contracts
- Demonstrated ability to deliver contract scope within a fast-paced and changing environment
Desirable Qualifications
- Degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field- Relevant professional memberships or construction qualifications
