About the Role

A leading construction company specialising in both new construction projects and housing maintenance is seeking a proactive Site Safety Advisor to join their team. This pivotal role focuses on ensuring safety compliance while providing valuable support to site managers through strategic planning and administrative assistance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough site audits and ensure adherence to safety regulations.
  • Guide site managers on safety protocols and future planning.
  • Alleviate administrative tasks for construction teams, enhancing efficiency.
  • Implement and monitor health and safety procedures across multiple sites.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting of safety compliance.

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Self-motivated and collaborative, with a supportive rather than authoritative approach.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a focus on positive and proactive engagement.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills.
  • Adaptable and able to work across different construction environments.

Requirements

  • Experience in conducting site audits and compliance checks.
  • Ability to advise on safety measures and assist in strategic planning.
  • Knowledge of current health and safety legislation in construction.
  • Relevant health and safety qualifications (NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent preferred).
  • Valid driving licence and willingness to travel between sites.
